Under 11's end of season review by Phil Chowney:
As
the season comes to an end we can reflect on how far we
have come since last season
This
year we played 19 games in total .
Won
- 9
Lost -6
Drew - 4
Goals
Scored -69
Goals Conceded - 51
Special Mention to the following players for excellent
contribution thought-out season
Jed
Hayes transfered to us in the early new year
a great asset .Some outstanding match in the few that
played so far.
Nathan Dolphin great progress made throughout
the season very consistence and always gives 110%.
Jack Osbourne some excellent performances
in the defence throughout the season a steady improvement
fromlast year well done.
Jack Jones once our goalkeeper now a
solid midfield player with energy to burn, has produced
some out standing performances keeping us in many games
in both positions.Well Done
Liam Chowney missed the first 6 games
with his broken arm and once fit got back to his old ways
with pace to burn and a eye for the goal if given the
chances.Well Done
Connor Davies very clever and skilful
player producing some excellent performances, has a natural
sweet right foot and gives 110% even in training .
Rhys Griffiths very versatile player
can play at the back or up front playing some great games
for us in either positions.
Jack Jones (captain marvel) grit and
determination and a major part of our midfield good solid
performances though season when up for it a quality player.
Lewis Hayes brother of Jed and also a
great asset to the team .Skillful left footed midfield
/ winger who has fitted in straight away with a few great
goals.
Jed Lawson has shown some good progress
thought-out season good team player.
Dale Kitchley has shown some good progress
thought-out season good team player.
Leah Talbot versatile player who will
be missed next year .Has produced some excellent perforance
in every position asked.
Matty Watts a great asset to the team
this season reads the game like a book and has the offside
down to a T . Pacey and skillful great player.
Daniel Wade a quite lad but a giant on
the field.Pacey and skillful when he escapes his defence
duties.Another great asset this season.
Tarek Harji skillful and a eye for goal.
A quality player with pace to burn and a eye for the goal
he always stand a chance to score if given the chances.
Kyle Edwards has shown some good progress
thought-out season good team player .Well Done
I
believe we have made some good progress this year with
some players devolving into good solid skilful players.
Going forward to next season we need to be more confident
on the ball and to play the simple ball.
Well done to all the players for their efforts this season.
A
big thankyou to all the parents / relatives for braving
all kinds of weather to watch their kids compete in the
games this season.
Lastly
a big thankyou to the following parents for their help
during the season in putting nets up / down and linesmen
duties.
