Wellingborough Town dominated from the
start. It was a fantastic display of passing, movement
and commitment from the lads. WTFC pressured the Brackley
goal throughout the game. Two fabulous headers were the
deciding factor. Jared Harewood got the first after a
cross from Dryden. Kurt Barber got the second after a
fine cross from Rowell. Brackley fought to the end and
in patches showed some assured passing, but Wellingborough
Town ran out worthy winners.

Report:
Wellingborough Town entertained Blisworth
in an Div 1 and 2 clash. It didn’t disappoint.
Wellingborough
Town started brightly, playing with a high tempo and good
passing, unfortunately on the day they didn’t finish
well.
To
their credit Blisworth contributed to a great game. They
defended well in numbers and caught our defence napping
with 2 through balls which their strikers finished calmly.
It was a good test for Wellingborough Town , like it was
for Blisworth. A fine game performed to a high standard
with both teams committed, showing flair and technique.
Special
mention to Ash Talbot who was awesome. Blisworth good
luck in the next round.

the Qtr Finals. He picked up the ball and with a great
turn inside unleashed a shot that found the net. Chris
Brockwell was outstanding in goal, producing numerous
saves.
Sam
Walpole and Ashley Talbot kept Wellingborough Town
in
the game. Vicarage Farm
took the lead after a straight ball wasn’t dealt
with by the defence. HT 1-0
Wellingborough
Town continued to attack and were awarded a pen after
Barber was brought down by the home keeper. Thankfully
the ref didn’t send him off, although letter of
