Weekley
went 3-0 up in 10 minutes before Wellingborough pulled
2 back to make it 3-2 at this stage the game could have
gone either way .
Wellingborough
were unlucky to concede a 4th goal when the weekley striker
clearly had Billy’s leg in his arms before putting
the ball in the net.
Overall
it was a good display against some big lads.

The

Wellingborough Town before adding a second to make it
2-1 .
Wellingborough
Town pushed very hard for the third goal with the Weekley
goalkeeper pulling off some fine saves but it was Weekley
who scored a great goal to make it 2-2 before scoring
a lucky third with the ball squeezing under Ryan into
the net.
A
draw would have been a fair result but credit to both

for the Weetabix U7 league.

Kingswood Swifts 3 -5 Wellingborough Town
Wellingborough
Town suffered a shock defeat at the hands of
Kingswood
Swifts where their keeper was their best player.
The
score did not reflect the game as for long periods Wellingborough
Town was in control and the amount of missed chances,
good chances hit double figures.
On
another day Wellingborough Town would have scored double
figures ourselves – but that’s football.
Connor
scored his second hat trick of the season. It was a good
team performance and not the result they deserved.
