APRIL 2010
WELLINGBOROUGH TOWN UNDER 9
After 3 seasons with Wellingborough Town Jezz Carr, along with Darren Edwards a little earlier in the season have decided to step down from their coaching / Managers positions.
Jezz and Darren had both made a massive contribution to the development of the current Under 9's, and both the Club and the boys are extremely grateful for their commitment over the last few years.
Simon Bishop and Steve Galloway will take responsibility for the team with immediate effect. Both Simon and Steve have been working with Jezz over the last few months and Wellingborough Town wish them well for the coming season.
FA CUP FINAL TICKETS
The Club applied for Cup Final tickets earlier this year and have been allocated the following:
2 x Chelsea @ £65 each
2 x Portsmouth @ £40 each
Getting hold of FA CUP FINAL tickets is as rare as a Spurs appearance so this may be a once in a life time chance for many. I will ballot these off to Wellingborough Town Youth Section members but please bear in mind that the winner of the ballot will need to pay for the tickets at face value.
TWO STRICT CONDITIONS
- Entrants must be registered as Wellingborough Town Players for this season.
- THE TICKETS ARE NOT TO BE SOLD ON, PASSED ON OR EXCHANGED.
If you wish to enter the ballot please can you email me your name and telephone number by 19:00 Sunday May 2nd.
Please state your preferred supporters end and if you are only interested in one particular end then please make this clear.
Kind regards,
Martin Patmore

We have now started training for your children currently in the Year 1 age group soon.
Please email Martin to reserve your place or call 07817 017053
GIRLS FOOTBALL
We occasionally get asked about football teams just for girls and at this time this is not something that Wellingborough Town can offer. This has not been down to choice, more down to the fact that we can’t find enough girls of similar age groups to participate in football.
We are currently putting the feelers out to gauge whether there is enough interest in girls football with a view to putting on some training sessions. If you would like to register your interest in these sessions then please email coach@wtys.co.uk including details of the child’s name, age and your telephone number.
CALLING ALL YEAR 1 CHILDREN - NEXT YEAR UNDER 7
We will start training for your children currently in the Year 1 age group in April (after Easter) when the clocks change and it gets a little warmer.
Training will probably take place on a Friday evening or Saturday morning.
Details will appear on our website when we are ready to kick things off, keep your eye on www.wtys.co.uk for details but feel free to email us for more details.
WELLINGBOROUGH TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB TRIALS
Wellingborough Town Football Club is always looking out for players who can improve our teams. As we start to plan for next seasons teams we are looking for new players for all age groups.
We are Wellingborough's Premier Club and if you are interested in trials for Wellingborough Town Football Club, or joining one of our training sessions then please contact us. Email coach@wtys.co.uk for more details.
JANUARY 2010
UNDER 16 2010/2011 - Current Year 10
Wellingborough Town will be entering an Under 16 team into the Weetabix League next season (2010 / 2011). The purpose of this team will be to feed players into Wellingborough Town Under 18's the following season.

If you are currently in YEAR 10 and are interested in joining Wellingborough Town Football Club then please email martin coach@wtys.co.uk to register your interest.

Please let your team manager know if you would like to attend the course.
FA PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES
There has been much talk about who is allowed to take pictures of children (under 18s) playing sport and in particular what parents/carers are permitted to do.
The FA would like to assure parents, carers, coaches, spectators, players and local media that we encourage
the taking of appropriate images of children in football. Download guide here
