Wellingborough Town were far from their best today , the three week lay off didn’t help , the boys were second best all afternoon. They played ok at times but Eye United wanted to win this game more and deserved their win

Wellingborough Town were excellent again today ,they have to be at their best to win these games. The game was settled with a great strike from Callum. There was no MOM today however there were several contenders Alex ,Tyrese and Thomas all had great games. Well done boys.

Wellingborough Town were not at their best today , the windy conditions didn’t help , however the boys created enough chances to score a lot more goals. They played really well at times and were always in control of this game.

Wellingborough Town’s first half performance was still not good enough and ended the first half trailing 2-1 with both goals coming from individual errors. A much improved second half and we took the game to them, and won every individual battle. Wellingborough scored early and created some good chances, scoring 3 more good goals 2 each for Connor and James . A great second half.

Wellingborough Town’s first half performance was unacceptable bordering on useless, we came in 2-0 down. The second half was much improved and we took the game to them , Wellingborough scored early and created some good chances ,but goalkeeping errors was once again our Achilles heel conceding 2 more SOFT goals.

Wellingborough Town cruised to a 3-0 win, with most of the possession being played in Higham’s half. Wellingborough Town took a 1-0 lead just before half time and a further 2 goals followed in the second half. The boys produced a professional performance today. Well done!

Man of the Match: Wellingborough Town’s first game of the season was played against Weekley Rovers Juventus. Wellingborough Town handed debuts to 5 new players who combined as if they had been playing together for a while. They all played well individually and collectively and won this game 1-6 with ease. Well done boys.
